Cameron Bennett is an award-winning artist who has been painting and illustrating professionally since 1999. His portraits hang in libraries, law firms, colleges, and in homes across the US and England. Several of his original cover illustrations were purchased by the senators, governors and CEO's depicted in them. Some of his portrait commissions include Mayor Ken Gregory of Cuckfield; Joan Lukey, first woman president of the American College of Trial Lawyers; Krystal Campbell; and Denise Squillante, President of the Massachusetts Bar Association.
Cameron holds a Bachelor's of Fine Art degree from the Massachusetts College of Art, a Master's of Fine Art degree from Lesley University, but considers his most valuable artistic education to have taken place in the four years he studied privately under classically trained painter Paul Ingbretson.
He has taught art for many years privately and also at university, college and in schools. His demonstrations, lectures and workshops in portraiture and figurative drawing and painting have always been popular among enthusiasts.
He currently resides in Sussex, where he produces portraits for clients in both America and England.
